Green Bee Lawn Care
Section 1: Services Available for Online Purchase
1.1 Service Types
Through our e-commerce platform, you may purchase some or all of the following services (availability may vary):
- Lawn care programs (e.g., 8-round fertilization and weed control)
- Tree and shrub care programs
- Mosquito control programs (seasonal or monthly)
- One-time or seasonal services (e.g., aeration, grub/sod webworm treatments, specialty weed treatments, insect/disease treatments)
The details of each service, including number of visits and what is included, are described on the relevant product or service page.
1.2 Service Area
Online orders are only valid for properties located within our current service area as indicated on our website or confirmed during checkout.
1.3 Scheduling
Service dates provided at checkout or in emails/texts are estimated service windows. They are subject to change due to weather, route optimization, or other factors.
Section 2: Pricing, Taxes & Promotions
2.1 Pricing
All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change at any time before your order is accepted. Once your order is confirmed, the price is locked in.
2.2 Taxes and Fees
Any applicable sales tax, environmental fees, or other charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout when required by law.
2.3 Promotions & Discounts
Promotional offers, coupon codes, and prepay discounts:
- Apply only to eligible services and time periods as stated.
- May be limited to new customers, certain neighborhoods, or specific programs.
- Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
We may modify or discontinue promotions at any time, but changes will not affect promotions already applied to completed orders.
Section 3: Payment & Billing
3.1 Payment Methods
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (such as major credit/debit cards). By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method.
3.2 Payment Authorization
By placing an order, you authorize Green Bee Lawn Care to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown at checkout.
3.3 Recurring Billing / Auto-Pay (If You Opt In)
If you enroll in auto-pay or recurring billing:
- You authorize us to charge your card or payment method automatically for services as they are completed or on a recurring schedule.
- You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
- You may cancel auto-pay by contacting our office at least 3 business days before your next scheduled charge.
Section 4: Prepay & Refund Policy
4.1 Prepay Programs
Prepay options allow you to pay for a defined program (e.g., an 8-round annual lawn care program) in advance, often at a discount.
- The prepay discount applies when you keep the program in place for the entire term (for example, the full season).
- Prepay amounts are applied to the specific services and time period listed on your offer or confirmation.
4.2 Canceling a Prepaid Program
If you cancel a prepaid program before all scheduled visits are completed:
- All completed visits are charged at the standard (non-discounted) per-visit price for those services.
- The amount you already paid is applied to those standard-rate visits first.
- Any remaining balance based on unused services is refunded to you.
No separate administrative or cancellation fee is charged in connection with early cancellation of a prepaid program.
If the standard-rate cost of completed services exceeds the prepay amount, you may owe an additional balance, which will be charged to your payment method on file.
4.3 Non-Refundable Charges
Certain services, deposits, special-order products, or charges may be designated as non-refundable at the time of purchase or in the service description.
Section 5: Cancellations, Rescheduling & Access
5.1 Customer Cancellation or Reschedule
If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled visit, please contact us as soon as possible before your service window so we can accommodate your request.
5.2 Property Access & Gate Codes
You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to all areas to be treated, including:
- Properly functioning and unlocked gates, or accurate gate codes.
- Secured pets.
- Removal of excessive clutter or obstacles that block treatment of turf/landscape areas.
If we arrive and cannot access parts of the yard safely:
- We may treat accessible areas only and note any inaccessible areas on your service record.
- Inaccessible portions may be rescheduled or addressed at a future visit within the scope of your program.
5.3 Weather & Site Conditions
We may postpone or alter services due to weather (e.g., heavy rain, standing water, extreme heat, or high winds) or site conditions that would make treatment ineffective or unsafe.
Section 6: Customer Responsibilities
By purchasing services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate property and contact information (address, gate codes, etc.).
- Follow technician instructions for post-treatment care, including keeping people and pets off treated areas until dry.
- Maintain reasonable cultural practices (proper mowing height, irrigation, drainage, etc.) that significantly affect results.
- Inform us promptly if you see issues or are dissatisfied, giving us a reasonable chance to inspect and, if appropriate, re-treat.
Failure to follow recommended cultural practices, or ignoring serious underlying issues (poor drainage, broken irrigation, heavy shade, etc.), can limit results and may void re-service eligibility.
Section 7: Satisfaction Policy / Re-Service
If you are not satisfied with the results of a treatment covered under your program:
- You must contact us within 3 weeks (21 days) of the service date.
- Re-service visits are typically scheduled no sooner than 5 days after the previous visit to avoid over-application of herbicides or other products.
If, after reviewing your lawn, we determine the issue is related to the covered service and within the scope of your program, we will re-treat the affected areas at no additional charge.
Re-services:
- Apply only to covered weeds/pests/diseases and program services--not to new services or major renovations.
- Do not guarantee instant results; some issues require multiple treatments and time.
This satisfaction policy does not apply to severe issues outside the program scope (e.g., major disease outbreaks, irrigation failures, or damage from external sources).
Section 8: Limitations & Exclusions
8.1 No Guarantee of a Perfect Lawn
Lawn and landscape results depend on many factors outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Weather, soil, and drainage conditions
- Irrigation and mowing practices
- Prior damage, compaction, or thatch
- Pests, diseases, and weeds not covered in your program
We do not guarantee a "perfect" lawn or the complete elimination of all weeds, pests, or diseases.
8.2 Specialty Weeds, Pests & Diseases
Certain weeds, insects, and diseases (e.g., dallisgrass, nutsedge, Virginia buttonweed, severe fungal diseases, etc.) can be difficult to control and may require specialty treatments beyond standard program visits.
These specialty treatments will be quoted separately unless explicitly listed as part of your program.
8.3 Third-Party Damage
We are not responsible for damage caused by third parties, including but not limited to utility companies, other contractors, or neighboring properties.
Section 9: Product Use, Licensing & Safety
9.1 Licensed Applications
Where required, our technicians are trained and, when applicable, licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture and/or other relevant authorities.
9.2 Product Safety & Post-Care
You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our technicians, on door hangers, and in service summaries, including:
- Keeping children and pets off treated areas until the product is dry or as otherwise directed.
- Waiting a recommended period before mowing or watering after certain applications.
Section 10: Communications & Notices
10.1 Service & Account Communications
By placing an order, you consent to receive communications from us via email, SMS/text messages, phone calls, and/or mail regarding:
- Order confirmations and invoices
- Service reminders, schedule updates, and post-service summaries
- Account notices, billing reminders, and collection notices
10.2 Marketing Communications
You may also be asked to opt in to marketing emails or texts. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link or replying STOP.
Section 11: Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Section 12: Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law:
- Green Bee Lawn Care's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to your purchase or use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits or loss of use).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Section 13: Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Green Bee Lawn Care, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your misuse of our website or services
- Your failure to follow safety, access, or care instructions
Section 14: Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
14.2 Venue
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
Section 15: Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
